Can I Bring My Pet With Me?
We do allow pets at the cabin. There is a limit of two dogs. Please do not leave pets unattended in the cabin. They must be kept on a leash while outside the cabin for their own safety. You are required to clean up after your pets. If your room requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of pet's actions, you may be charged for additional charges and repairs.

Can I Smoke Inside The Cabin?
We have a strict no smoking policy in the cabin. If discarded butts are found, additional cleaning fees will apply. (PLEASE DO NOT DISREGARD THIS POLICY AS IT WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE & ENTIRE LOSS OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.)

How are Reservations Handled?
At the time of booking we require 50% payment. We will email you a Cabin Lease Agreement that must signed and scanned/emailed back or mailed back within a week. The remaining 50% payment is due fourteen (14) days before the scheduled check in. Reservations less than fourteen days from scheduled check in require full payment to book. A $300 security/damage deposit is required. It will be refunded when it has been determined there has been no damage.

What If I Need To Cancel Or Change My Booking?
*** FOR YOUR PROTECTION ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING – EITHER THROUGH E-MAIL, OR CERTIFIED MAIL.*** A cancellation results in the loss of the 50% deposit made at the time of reservation. Our cabin is privately owned, consequently cancellations affect the owners significantly. Once a reservation is made, changes to the date are subject to a non-refundable $50 fee per alteration. Also, changes to the reservation date can only be made (14) fourteen or more business days prior to the check in date provided the reservation is not a holiday booking. Rentals are based on availability, and once the property has been reserved and held for a tenant(s) other inquiries will be turned away. Thus, alterations regarding date of reservation could prevent other rentals. If an emergency requires changes to the reservation less than fourteen (14) days from scheduled check in, a minimum fee equivalent to one night’s rental in addition to all rental fees associated with updated reservation will be required.

What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?
CHECK-IN IS AT 4:00 PM: To make certain housekeeping has all the time it needs to prepare the cabin we cannot offer early check ins or late check outs. Please do not attempt to check in early, our cabin books frequently and often at the last minute which makes it very difficult to guarantee a check in earlier than 4:00 PM.

CHECK-OUT IS AT 11:00 AM: It is our mission to provide the cleanest cabin possible so that our guests will come back to stay with us in the future! The 5 hour window between check out and check in allows just enough time for the cabin to be inspected/cleaned between guests. Please help our housekeeping staff stay on schedule without inconveniencing the next guest by checking out on time and following the check out procedures provided to you & posted in the cabin.

What If I Leave Something At The Cabin?
When you leave the cabin at 11:00 AM it is very likely that another party will be checking in at 4:00 PM. If you leave something at the cabin, please call immediately and we will try to make arrangements. If it is not found by our staff or the cleaning staff prior to the next guests arrival, it may not be there when they leave. We cannot be responsible for your lost items.

If an item is found, there is a minimum $25 charge for shipping and handling. Please make sure you get everything when you leave.

Is There An Additional Cleaning Charge?
There is no cleaning charge for the cabin. We have a professional cleaning service that cleans the cabin after your stay.
